Spectacular Tribute to the Alchemist

Obverse: The likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that is centered upon the obverse was created by acclaimed British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998. The surrounding inscription, "ELIZABETH II," "NIUE ISLAND," "5 DOLLARS" and "2022," is encircled by a beaded border. Additional inscriptions located adjacent to the effigy include the artist's initials "IRB," the Mint of Poland's Mint mark and "AG 999."

Reverse: The reverse features an Alchemist portrayed as a mad scientist wearing steampunk inspired garb, while holding aloft a bright green bottle-shaped insert. Shelving bearing vials, jars and ancient tomes covers the entirety of the background. A wood plank suspended by a chain above carries the inscription "ALCHEMIST," the letters of which are enhanced with fluorescent printing. After exposure to light, the letters and the bottle glow a vibrant acid green in the dark.
