Random Date Austria 1 oz Silver Philharmonic €1.50 Coin GEM BU

Why purchase this Brilliant Uncirculated 2019 1 oz. Silver Austrian Philharmonic coin?

The Austrian Mint introduced the Philharmonic gold bullion series in 1989, featuring a design proudly honoring Austria's Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra created by the Mint's Chief Engraver Thomas Pesendorfer. The Mint expanded the popular series in 2008 with the addition of a one ounce silver coin, which was the first European .999 pure silver bullion coin. The coin has been produced annually ever since, consistently struck from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver. This 2019 Austrian Philharmonic coin measures 37 mm in diameter, featuring a smooth mirror-like edge.

Breathtaking Design Featuring Musical Instruments

An artistic composition of musical instruments used by members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is depicted on the reverse, featuring a cello surrounded by a harp, four violins, a bassoon and a Viennese horn, with the inscriptions "WIENER PHILHARMONIKER" and "SILBER" curving above.

The obverse depicts an illustration of the historic pipe organ of the Musikverein Golden Concert Hall, located in the Austrian capital city of Vienna. Inscribed "REPUBLIK OSTERREICH" and "2019," along with the weight and face value.
