Why buy this 5 oz 2018 £10 Great Britain Four Generations of Royalty Silver Proof?

Fans and followers of the British royal family will love this 5 oz Silver 2018 £10 British Four Generations of Royalty Proof. It was struck at the Royal Mint from .999 fine gold, finer than its smaller counterparts. The coin is among the first since the reign of Queen Victoria to honor four generations of the royal family. This coin is part of a mintage of just 1,000 pieces.

Elegant Initials Design

Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is at the center of the obverse. She wears her royal diamond diadem and earrings. Two sets of rim inscriptions encircle her image. One is her name and an abbreviation of her title, "ELIZABETH II D.G. REG. FID. DEF." (Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith), while the other is the face value, "5 POUNDS."

On the reverse are the initials of Queen Elizabeth II ("E"), Charles, William, and George. All except the "G" are joined by the individual's respective coronet, or crown. Under them are crossed oak branches, which are symbols of the Royal Bade of the House of Windsor.

Impeccable PF70

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) awarded this coin their highest grade, Proof 70 (PF70). Only coins that are perfect as seen under 5x magnification receive that grade.
