Obverse: The obverse personification of Liberty draped in an American flag is borrowed from the iconic Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman. "LIBERTY," "2020" and "IN GOD WE TRUST" are inscribed. Mr. Weinman was an early 20th century American sculptor, whose works include adornments to the state capitol buildings in Wisconsin, Missouri and Louisiana.
Reverse: The reverse illustrates an eagle grasping an olive branch and arrows. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "S." The U.S. Mint's 12th Chief Engraver John Mercanti is credited with the heraldic design.
