Obverse: Adolph Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design, which appeared on the half dollar from 1916-1947, features on the obverse. Liberty is draped in the American flag as she carries laurel and oak branches at sunrise. Inscriptions on the obverse include her name, "LIBERTY," the date, "2021," and the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST." Adolph Weinman sculpted numerous works, many of which remain on display in American cities. His most famous numismatic contributions are the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the Mercury Dime.

Reverse: John Mercanti designed the reverse, modeling it off of the Great Seal of the United States. Thirteen stars represent the original states at the top, while an eagle guards a union shield below. These images are encircled by three rim inscriptions, which read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR." John Mercanti spent well over three decades with the U.S. Mint, including time as its Chief Engraver. Nobody in American history has designed more coins and medals than he has.
