The Mongolian Nature series was to include a total of five designs. The 2017 Roaring Deer is the final design of the series. The coin shown here is silver with a gilt finish. It weighs 1/2 Troy oz. and mintage was limited to just 2,500 pieces.

Cut-Out Roaring Deer

Since this coin has a cut-out design, both the obverse and reverse look very similar aside from the orientation difference. On the obverse the Mongolian coat of arms is displayed. It nearly touches the neck of the deer.

When you look at the reverse, the deer is facing the inscriptions on this side. The inscriptions "MONGOLIAN NATURE" and "2017" can be seen here.

Mint State 70 and Early Releases from NGC

The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) was chosen to grade this 1/2 oz. coin. It was examined thoroughly with and without magnification, but no imperfections were found. This is why it received the grade of Mint State 70. It was also given the Early Releases designation because it was submitted for grading during its first 30 days of issue.
